Panel conversation – The Greek Competitiveness Story – part 2 Innovating out of crisis in finance

Greek leaders have learned multiple lessons since the beginning of the debt crisis in 2009. This session will review how reform efforts, such as the digitalization of the public administration, the restructuring of the banking system and financial stimulus packages, helped Greece regain market and citizen’s confidence. Additionally, experts will discuss the tools used to navigate the recession, comment on the lessons learned from the experience, and pinpoint critical developments from over ten years of reforms.

Discussion questions:

  • How have you navigated the financial crisis?
  • What have you learned from the crisis?
  • What strengths and advantages have you built coming out of the crisis?
