Moderated conversation – Connecting transformational research and technology projects with innovation
Big research and transformational technology projects are increasingly important in addressing global challenges. Moonshot projects mobilize attention and resources and can deliver bold results for complex problems. They also require new tools and methods, which find applications in other fields. Nevertheless, involving industry in bold and risky projects requires specific frameworks and models. In this session, workshop participants will review the opportunities and challenges to translate advanced research and transformational technology projects into commercial applications.
