Biography
As Innovation Director of CNI (Brazilian National Confederation of Industries), Ms. Sagazio is responsible for the executive coordination of the Entrepreneurial Mobilization for Innovation (MEI) and the CNI-SOSA Open Innovation partnership. She was a member of the National Council of Science and Technology (CCT). Nowadays, she is a member of Management Committee of the Innovation Room, of the Ministry of Economy (ME); Advisory Board of the Interministerial Committee for Digital Transformation (CITDigital); Advisory Board of the Brazilian Innovation Agency (FINEP); National Coordination Commission of the Dialogues for Brazil Project of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC); Inova Technical Advisory Council of National Union of Motor Vehicle Components Industry (SINDIPEÇAS);Board of Directors of the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT); Advisory Board of Portulans Institute; Advisory Board of ENRICH in Brazil; Advisory Board of Comprehensive Global Assessment Model (GAAVA) of the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT); Consultative Committee of the MCTI-Embrapii Network for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence; Impact Investments and Business Committee (Enimpacto); Advisory Board of the National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec); the Deliberative Council of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq); the MCTI Tower; International Advisory Board for Business Mobilization for Innovation (MEI); Council of the Sou Ciência Society; Curator Council of the National Quality Foundation (FNQ); Management Committee of the Yellow Green Fund (CT-Verde e Amarelo); Board of Directors of the Center for Strategic Studies and Management (CGEE); Advisory Council of Emerging Markets Institute of Cornell SC Johnson College of Business; Board of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils. Previously, she worked at the Brazilian development bank (BNDES), United Nations and Fundação Dom Cabral. Gianna Sagazio is an economist, has a master’s degree in Economic Development from the Catholic University of Brasilia, and is certified by Wharton School University of Pennsylvania in Strategy and Innovation and attended the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
