Biography
Nikolaos Baltoyiannis is Head of Planning and Evaluation Unit at the Management Authority of Epirus since 2015. From 2005 to 2015 he was Head of Monitoring and Management Unit. His career in the Management Authority of Program Epirus started in 2002 as a Desk officer of Planning and Evaluation Unit.
He is a Petroleum Engineer with experience in Program and Project management, having extensive interaction with European Commission agencies and with additional experience in road/tunnel construction.
Prior to his current positions, in 1997 he joint AVETTE Technodomi and later ATTIKAT WLL as a Tunnel Engineer and in 2000 he joined the Region of Epirus as a Technical Consultant.
He holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from Technical University of Crete, Greece.
